I am desperate to find some outlet for my love of Japanese food and Japanese language, alongside other things. I dearly miss eating Okonomiyaki so in honour of my love for the floury goodness of a savory pancake with mochi and cheese I am naming my first blog entry after said food. I hope to master cooking Okonomiyaki in my own kitchen, but various appliances must be bought. I have recently wooed my work mates with my excellent Onigiri, with umeboshi bits and tuna. Delicious. Prehaps this blog will take the shape of an experimental food blog. I am also keen to master Tamagoyaki and Katsu-don. Not the mention mochi (particuarly Dango). Oh how I love Dango. I am going to kick start my cooking with a simple udon and ebi-tempura at some point this week.
